A species, section pseudonarcissus , a wild flower of great beauty and great form, Moschatus occurs in the Pyrenees. Inflexed petals and deeply ribbed trumpet appear to be sculpted from marble. Projecting opulence and restfulness she is In our top ten list of most beautiful flowers, regardless of genus.
Even though she is slow to increase Moschatus is loved world round. While she is a feral and persistant creature in the south do not take it personally if she does not return for you. Many before you have felt the love and then the pang of rejection from Moschatus. Synonyms include Nellies, Swan's Neck and Cernum.

If you think triandrus are a bit boring Petrel will crack your prejudice. Once you have it you will be a bird watcher too. Petrel is fabulous in a well-designed garden bed, but unfortunately remains in limited supply.

From 1966, Pueblo is a Grant Mitsch jonquil and an ADS classic. LIke most of Mitsch jonquils it is late because at that time he had only a late strain of species jonquilla to work with as a pollen parent. Pueblo is floriferous: usually two or more blooms per scape and matures from yellow to all ivory white with a very wavy cup. Somehow I have only one photo of an immature bloom of Pueblo in the library . A good vase filler.

Snipe is early and photogenic. Extremely perennial and cyclamineus proud. A truly great cultivar that is at home in the rockery and in the pot. We are offering it in the cut flower category, its blooms are too small to cut, but forced in a pot it is long lasting and adorable : we think the florists will know how to use it.
Not to be confused with the 6 W-Y cyclamineus ´†Jack Snipe†ª, who is nice , but by comparison is lacking in charisma.
