Bantam is a mid 20th century large cup that continues to command interest.

Intermediates struggle for attention in the landscape trade but Bantam is well behaved and right-sized in a mixed border or cottage garden bed. She can be a bit of a nodder so some bright sunlight will lift her face up.

On the bench she does well. Bright and sharp with crenulation in the cup. Her perianth can be well-rounded.

Bantam is seed and pollen fertile and has some remarkable offspring including Independence Day and Scarlet Tanager.
