Narcissus Julia Jane in the snow.
Bulbocodiums are winter bloomers that are almost always approved as miniatures. Underused in the garden and rockery, they are ephemeral and long blooming, providing a continuum after the snowdrops, winter aconite and crocus have melted. If you are ga-ga for galanthus you will find charm in these narcissus.
In the South they are free wheeling and feral, in the North they are pickier about location but send up a flush of fine rounded leaves around Thanksgiving and just wait patiently until the snow begins to recede. Then they fly their bloomers . We believe that we list more than anyone.
Bulbicodium have a Primordial spirit and have only recently attracted the attention of hybridizers.
