N. x intermedius

Intermedius is a naturally occurring wild child, an intersectional hybrid of species jonquillas and tazettas. Up to seven small, free and expressive blooms per scape. Lovely and spirited in the cottage garden and a smart selection for a division 13 entry. Completely sterile.

Colloquial synonyms include “Ditch Daffodil, “Hens and Biddies” and “Texas Star”. Grows freely in east Texas.  A great southern daffodil.
