Bebob is an Alec Gray miniature Jonquil with rich two-toned yellow color. Ma and Pa Bebop were both species, Daddy appears to be a poeticus. Confident like Mary Lou Williams and punchy like Dizzy Gillespie. Scented and petite.

Bobbysoxer -- such a funny orange face on this Alec Gray jonquilla. Floriferous, friendly, fun. Diminutive but stands tall in the close-up garden bed and rockery. Old, but not a miniature nor a historic — ADS Classic.

Broomhill is a tall, all white, mid-century large cup. Broad, overlapping petals, strong structure and flanged cup makes her a solid shower. Broomhill is a member of a rich bloodline - Beersheba, King Alfred and China White are ancestors. Very slightly misty green at the base of the cup. Seed fertile, Broomhill has been a seed parent for many all white, show worthy cultivars. ADS Classic.

Here's looking at you, Kid. Small Cupped daffodils add a stately and calm presence to the bed and the arrangement. Capisco is punctuated by a spicy and colorful eye. Good for cut flowers. We love the small cups so much and while florists may not know them, they are first rate in architecture and mixability. Buds up tall, long lasting. ADS Classic

Clare is just the cutest little miniature jonquilla with a flat colorful cup. Perianth is a lighter yellow. An Alex Gray daffodil from mid century. Comparable to but distinct from Sun Disc and Bebop. Usually one flower per scape. ADS Classic.

An ADS Classic, cyclamineus Clown has a little ribbed funny face and reflexed white petals. Puts on an amusing show in the garden. Nods, good in the rockery, but he is not a small plant.

A miniature, rich yellow jonquil, Curlylocks is bright and ruffly. One to three one inch pugnacious blooms on a scape. US bred. Rare. ADS Classic.

Dainty Miss is a siren's song in the garden. An all-white jonquil she goes it alone, only one two-inch perfectly appointed, dainty-cupped flower per stem please. Wanting a chorus of Dainty Miss for your garden is only natural. Compelling. Benchable. Miss Dainty is an ADS Classic, Wister Award winner, a mid century spell of Grant Mitsch witchcraft.

Who would pick Dr. Fleming out of the Spring Intelligence Service line-up? Like all of the frilly faces, carrot-faced or not, old Alexander is a reliable thriller. Given a second chance I would plant him in gravel and manure. Dr. Alex sports a white halo.

A species jonquil and triandrus made their acquaintance in the garden of Grant Mitsch. Fairy Chimes was born. Floriferous: four to six blooms per scape. Fragrant. Deeper in color than N.hawera and more upright. Plant in the rockery with species tulips and muscari. ADS Classic.

Why does Flowmay drive us to such devotion? She is a tiny, miniature jonquilla, all white with an impossibly delicate pink rim on the cup. So improbable a heroine, so hopeful in a world of naysaying giants. Alec Gray named this for the missus. Tiny and rare. ADS Classic.

Foundling found a patron and went on to raise her own family of remarkable offspring: Elizabeth Ann, Kaydee, Georgi Girl. A short barreled pink cup with reflexed white petals. Cyclamineus. Pollen and seed fertile. Makes a nice colorful clump. Adoption papers filed at checkout. ADS Classic.

Among shrimps, Alec Gray's Gambas stands out for it scaled-down upright trumpet form. Possibly a garden improvement of the species Asturiensis . Very early, seed fertile, ADS miniature.

A cross of two species pseudonarcissus, Gipsy Queen is a soft white and greenish-yellow miniature trumpet from Alec Gray. Queenie is a strong grower and commands attention in the bed, pot or on the bench. Because she blooms so early, we associate her reign with late spring snowfall, but given her lineage she should perform well further south. Alec Gray. ADS Miniature. ADS Classic.

An older cyclamineus registered by Grant Mitch, Mite is a miniature and aside from not being particularly pendant, it retains a lot of cyclamineus spirit. Very fertile, Mite is a good surrogate for the species in breeding, the species cyclamineus must be raised from seed. Way adorable and sophisticated, it is hard to not stare. ADS Miniature. Rikki don't loose that number, send it off in a letter to yourself. A miniature rupicola x poeticus from Alex Gray , with a deeper yellow color in the cup than Sundisc or Segovia. A bright, contrasty, and happy little jonquilla bloomer. ADS miniature. ADS Classic.

Sugarbush brings a soft "Victorian" ruffle to the arrangement and the border. An ADS classic, this Alec Gray jonquil is unique in its form and coloring. In cooler climates the cup develops a singular rich gold ochre color in the cup, which contributes to
