We hesitate to deem Beautiful Dream as a good "filler" flower for the bouquet, although it succeeds any way you see fit to use it. Because of its gentle nature and its ability to elevate its neighbors, you may overlook its strength, frilly cup and lovely coloration. Like all things Grant Mitsch there is perfection here, but perfection does not exclude gentleness. Pollen and seed fertile. Granddaughter of China White. Don't be shy, we have a good stock of this daffodil.

There is a lot to appreciate about Castle Howard : velvety substance, the linen white color, the sheer size and architecture of the bloom. Howie can be a handful to husband but in the end insanely rewarding. An imposing presence when fully unfurled on the bench.

Dainty Miss is a siren's song in the garden. An all-white jonquil she goes it alone, only one two-inch perfectly appointed, dainty-cupped flower per stem please. Wanting a chorus of Dainty Miss for your garden is only natural. Compelling. Benchable. Highly mucronate. Miss Dainty is an ADS Classic, Wister Award winner, a mid century spell of Grant Mitsch witchcraft.
I am a bit dubious as to the advisability of classing this as a jonquil hybrid, but its pedigree lends validity to this placement. A most de- lightful little flower that might be compared with Xit, but it is larger and a flower of more rounded form. Grows much more upright than Ocean Spray. The very flat over- lapping perianth, and small saucer shaped crown are glistening white. Hardly eligible for the miniature class, but a beautiful addition to the smaller varieties sometimes designated as intermediates.
Novelty Daffodils, Grant Mitsch, 1971 p.9
3 W-GWW
Broad white petals with a coy green eye. Much Sought after. ADS Historic, ADS Classic. Tall and late, it plays well with others: We put it on the May floral market. A bloom of great beauty and poise that defines elegance : one we cannot imagine living without. A proud parent both ways.

A formidable all-white small cup Draycote Water is descended from Princess Zaide who is disappearing from the commercial trade. Like its father Draycote excels in the landscape and on the show bench. Maybe a bit better at both if you are looking for a white small cup, that is.

N. dubius var. dubius, section Tazetta
Dubius is an important tazetta section species daffodil occuring in Spain. Spectacular detail, pure white with a miniature form. Dubius sprouts early, requires little cold and needs substantial protection in colder zones.
Our selection of dubius is not the most beautiful that you can find. But most dubius make no offsets: one bulbs is created as the mother bulb dies. Our selection is one that reliably makes offsets, which will be of value to those interested in breeding.
Pollen and seed fertile.

Honey I shrunk the Trumpets! Alec Gray focused his miniaturization beam on most every division of daffodil. Some days we wonder what it would be to wander a garden made up exclusively of dwarf Walter Blom cultivars. The ivory trumpet Flower Child transports us to a baroque, enchanting world of child-like wonder and magic. We can think of so many ways to put the daff to work. Recent introduction, an ADS Intermediate.
4 W-W
Well-named Frostbite is a spontaneous poeticus sport, extra white pointy petals intruding into the cup. Widely variable except that Frostbite retains an overall hexagonal corona shape, analogous to snowflakes. Scented Frostbite brings a lovely blast of cool to the late spring border when all of the other daffodils have melted. An intermediate, Frosty is attractive in a vase , for us blooms with Spanish Bluebells and Tulip Maureen. You will be pleasantly surprised by the the scent.
1 W-W
A tiny all-white trumpet from Brian Duncan, Gipsy Vale is a cross ofObvallaris and Gipsy Queen. Coy, pugnacious and perfectly formed Gipsy Vale is a very good variety for competition.
3 W-W
This new van der Veek introduction has a small frilly cup and is white all over like Hudson Bay late in the spring before the winter ice finally melts. A very tall and very late Daffodil. Henry Hudson's first trips to North America were financed by the British. The Dutch East Indies investors our bid the Brits to finance Hank's voyage to find the Northeast passage. As soon as Henry got his hands on those guilders he sailed due west and discovered not any passage at all but Manhattan instead.

The amorously named I Love You makes a peerless beautiful white bloom. A perfect balance of restraint and joy, I Love You is a strong grower who will take on many lovers at the show. Large cupped.
I have a favorite one... I Love You. That's one that I bred myself and it won first prize at the show in England. then it was still only numbers. And all the old guys were talking about the daffodils and I thought I'd make fun out of them by calling it I Love You so now they have to say I Love You all the time. - Carlos van der Veek.

When the fees from the streaming service for viewing Love Actually start to show up on my charge card I know that Christmas time has arrived at our house. On first sight this all white large cup is reminiscent of the older standby Stainless. But Love Happens when the perianth is rounder and the cup is more crenate. Quite a stunning sensation when it happens.

love is more thicker than forget
more thinner than recall
more seldom than a wave is wet
more frequent than to fail
it is most mad and moonly
and less it shall unbe
than all the sea which only
is deeper than the sea
love is less always than to win
less never than alive
less bigger than the least begin
less littler than forgive
it is most sane and sunly
and more it cannot die

We just did a check and we have at one time or another listed a lot of John Gibson's Daffodils, maybe half of his lifetime registrations. Love to Dream a large all white trumpet with a certain amount of blingy attitude is very much in the vein of impressive English show flowers. Registered in 2026.
2 W-W
Love You More ! You Bethca ! A shapely and robust large cupped trumpet from Carlos van der Veek. Lovely ivory white color with fabulous substance. While the perianth may be a bit ribby for the Judges, the overall form of this flower is impressive -- with a little primping I think it has ribbon winning potential. Pricing allows for landscape planting.

A sotto voce of a pianissimo, whisper of a pink dwells on the cup of this older Brian Duncan all-white cyclamineus. Mary Lou makes an intriguing feminine flower for competition or a special place in the rockery.
5 W-W
Here's a real oddity, but cute as can be. Mini Pearl is a triandrus, one bloom per scape, but in the form of a trumpet : it doesn't resemble a triandrus at all. With this gene pool who needs boundaries ? Loverely form and color. Easy grower for the pot rockery or anywhere else you want to decorate and celebrate.

An abundance of broad, substantial, wavy and white flowers on a scape bring a spirit of opulence to the bed, bench, and bunch. Nickelodeon is a modern poetaz, from Grand Monarque, and from New Zealand too. A remarkable flower that we recommend without a moment's hesitation.

If you are looking for Yum-Yum, then its all white, flat, and improved small-cupped daughter Silver Choice from Brian Duncan is your best bet. Yum -Yum has met its demise and is no longer in our nursery. We have good numbers of Silver Choice, despite sounding like a Medicare supplement plan, it throws perfect blooms of good substance.
6 W-W
While most of Mr. Blom's seedlings are miniatures, ivory colored Snellebel pushes the envelope as a larger, not miniature, but still dwarf cyclamineus. Swooping in with a birdlike form, it is swift, reflexed and thrilling.
6 W-W
Snipe is early and photogenic. Extremely perennial and cyclamineus proud. A truly great cultivar that is at home in the rockery and in the pot. We are offering it in the cut flower category, its blooms are too small to cut, but forced in a pot it is long lasting and adorable : we think the florists will know how to use it.
Not to be confused with the 6 W-Y cyclamineus ´†Jack Snipe†ª, who is nice , but by comparison is lacking in charisma.

Yes Virginia you can see the future from here.Snow Blossom is a beguiling cross of a bulbocodium and a viridiflorus hybrid from the hand of the Late Theo Sanders. Specifically N.cantabricus x Emerald Sea ( Sea Dream x N.viridiflorus) crossing the daffodil gene pool onto a unspoilt snowy shore.

3 W-W
An easy and smooth wave of a white small cup, White Spring is an English bred Tall Daff. Extremely Limited.
4 W-P
The only thing more free-spirited than the bloom on this cultivar is the thought processes of the person who named it. A loose coalition of petals in whisper-soft white and pink bloom out of the leaves on a sturdy scape: We are looking forward to pulling our Woo Woo from the cutting garden as a filler in Spring arrangements. Not sure how a Daffodil Judge can or will evaluate this flower.
3 W-W
Alec Gray bred a lot of terrific miniature small cups : Segovia, Sundisc ; This Daffodil on DaffSeek but Xit has always caught our eye. White blossoms make a cumulus cloud-like display. Exciting in the bed and on the bench, there is a lot of joy to go around. Grows well and can make a tall stem. One of the very best in Narcissusdom.
