121 Cultivars Listed

We regularly cycle cultivars in and out of our list on an annual basis. Our daffs are dug from small stocks and may need a year or two to replenish. Perhaps you are looking for a daffodil that you have ordered before. So we are posting Daffodils from our fields that were listed in a previous year, but are taking this year off. Don't fret, they will be back some season soon.

Today there are a few terrific miniature jonquillas that are floriferous, notably Baby Boomer and Kokopellii. But for 30 years Baby Moon had little competition. 2 Y-YOO

Before 1950

Not for Sale this Year

Bantam is a mid 20th century large cup that continues to command interest. Intermediates struggle for attention in the landscape trade but Bantam is well behaved and right-sized in a mixed border or cottage garden bed. She can be a bit of a nodder so some bright sunlight will lift her face up. On the bench she does well. Bright and sharp with crenulation in the cup. Her perianth can be well-rounded. Bantam is seed and pollen fertile and has some remarkable offspring including Independence Day and Scarlet Tanager.

Beryl is the oldest cyclamineus cultivar we can think of. A spirited and free centenarian, she is a dwarf with compact blooms but not classified as a miniature. Beryl is present at almost every daffodil show - when her petals sweep back in full cyclamineus fashion she is as breathtaking as a meteor shower. Pollen and seed are fertile. She has long served as a seed parent.

Brooke Ager creates a lot of love and excitement wherever she goes. An intermediate, a dwarf and a large cup, she stands out with a substantial and rich pink cup. There is some echo of the cup color into the petals. Brings a bright and attractive contrast to the rockery and close up beds. The rich colored cup along with a trim rounded perianth and stylish anthers makes her a show bench natural.
